Tradition of company Ginzel, s.r.o. lasts since 1991 when was established company EcoGlas, s.r.o. Ing. Wolfgang Ginzel was one of co-owners. EcoGlas, s.r.o. was active with wider range of activities in area of glass processing and glass technologies. Ginzel, s.r.o. was separated from company original Ecoglas slowly step by step by progressive specialization. Nowadays Ginzel is already very specialist firm focused mainly on development, manufacturing and sales of technical glass beads and balls. We deliver accurate beads and balls manufactured according to request of our customers. Customer request is focused mainly on two points, first is the dimensions (guarantee tolerance of diameter, roundness and quality of surface), second is request for glass content, respectively its physical-chemical attributes (borosilicate glass, low-alkaline glass and etc).
Glass Beads
Every man, when search in memory can find that the glass balls have been met during life. Mat, polished or rainbow glass ball was included in our childhood as top secrets. Gradual growing up our rainbow ball turned into a crystal ball, called ball divination, for which we have managed whole evenings to dream about our future. Ball is form which is the basic structural shape of all substances which surround us on The Earth and in The Space. Whether we start with atoms and end up with planets - everything has a spherical shape. There is plenty of glass beads and balls in our homes to be founded to play with as game, or exhibits various decorative balls in display cases, but mostly, a lot of glass beads is hidden in many instruments and devices.
Ceramic beads
Using of ceramic beads is unbelievable wide and we can find a lot of applications of different sizes of ceramic beads. It is good to remember that the ceramic beads are divided not only according size or range of fraction but also according base ceramic material. Ceramic beads are become standard for production of many types of products. The trend of replacing glass beads by ceramic beads is unstoppable in many applications. Nowadays, all is joined with efficiency, performance and economic benefit. May be you love a good chocolate. In the production of the tastiest chocolates are also used balls – the steel balls, glass and ceramic balls too. Dispersion of material is made by ceramic balls and it is the way how to get an excellent taste of the finest chocolates.
Technical beads
The wide use of technical glass beads is practically in all areas of industry. Tradicionaly beads are used in paint and coating industry in pearl mills. Technical beads are part of ink cartridge of fountain-pens, perfume aerosols or as just decorative infill of perfumes. Large volume of technical glass beads is used in for traffic road marking. Technical beads from borosilicate glass have wide usage in chemical, food, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry. Precise grinded technical beads are used in engineering industry for construction of special valves and bearings. We talk mainly about application in aggressive media and surroundings (technical glass is more resistance again acids and lyes) or where we face large temperature differences (temperature stretchability of glass is very low).
Glitters and scatternig
We meet various forms of glitters and scattering on various occasions in our lives. In the most cases glitters and scattering are used as decorative materials, but there are also technical and industrial applications. The best known is the use of glitters on Christmas decorations, where is used since the time of origin of glass Christmas tree decoration. In this time, brilliantine was a frequently used name. Nowadays we offer not only glass glitters, but also aluminum glitters and polyester glitters. The main using of aluminum glitters is in industrial production and processing of plastics and glitters are there used to so-called master batch. From the prepared plastic material are made various parts for household instruments (lid of vacuum cleaners, coffee machine, etc.) or plastic products such as plates, bowls, trays, wastebaskets, etc. Another use of aluminum glitters is on the wallpaper and decorative plaster in interiors for example at discos and clubs.
