Ceramic grinding beads Zircon silicate – Z type
These grinding ceramic beads have a density 3.7 kg/l and are predestinate for grinding and dispersion of materials with medium viscosity. In general these zircon-silicate beads are called “rendered” for their production technology. We can also say that these ceramic beads are used in production, when the density of grinding media from ceramic beads is defined precisely. Otherwise, the more frequently used ceramic beads are made different technology – so-called sintered ceramic beads.
Grinding ceramic beads of Z type are successfully used for example for milling of titanium dioxide as well as other products of color industry, such as in bleaching of paper in paper industry and in milling in production of video and audio cassettes.
